Dr. Maylin Alejandra Hidalgo Torres

About her:

Dr. Maylin Hidalgo began her studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Honduras. She later continued her education at the same institution, training at the Maternal and Child Hospital of the Honduran Social Security Institute, where she obtained her specialty in Gynecology and Obstetrics.

In addition to her extensive academic and professional career, Dr. Maylin pursued a subspecialty in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the National Institute of Perinatology “Isidro Espinosa de los Reyes,” supported by the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Among her most outstanding achievements are the following:

• Being a tenured professor at the University of Health of the State of Mexico.

Her participation in many congresses, such as:

• Fifth Meeting of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Residents.

Dr. Hidalgo has written and participated in multiple courses of medical and scientific relevance, such as:

• Epidemiological Situation of Neural Tube Defects Over the Years at the National Institute of Perinatology.
• “Prevalence of Fetuses with Congenital Defects Born to Adolescent Mothers.” 68th Mexican Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
