Dr. Claudia Guadalupe Castillo Martínez

About her:

Dr. Claudia Castillo began her studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, where she obtained her specialty in Gynecology and Obstetrics.

In addition to her great academic and professional career, Dr. Claudia completed a high specialization in Human Reproductive Biology at the most important university in Latin America, recognized worldwide, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Among her most outstanding achievements are the following:

• Obtained a Diploma in Clinical Andrology from the National Institute of Perinatology Isidro Espinosa de los Reyes
• Participation in the academic session of the co-ordination of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Centro Médico Nacional 20 de Noviembre in Mexico City, as a speaker on the subject of “Varicocele”.
• Active Member of The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology
• Graduated with Honorable Mention in the Human Reproduction Biology Service at The 20 de Noviembre National Medical Center

Her attendance in many international congresses such as:

• The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) 37th Annual Meeting.
• The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) 36th Annual Meeting.
• 8th International IVIRMA Congress en Palma de Mallorca, España.

Dr. Castillo has written and participated in the research and publication of multiple scientific articles, such as:

• “Barriers to follow-up of abnormal PAP smears among women”.
• “Edad Femenina avanzada y Miomatosis Uterina de grandes elementos” presentación de caso clínico en el 49 Congreso Mexicano de Medicina de la Reproducción.
• “Falla Testicular en un paciente con azoospermia, Cariotipo Normal, sin Microdeleciones del Cromosoma”.
• “Tener un bebé… ¿después de los 35?”, columna de opinión en periódico Milenio.
