Dr. Silvia Cristal Cabrera Sánchez

About her:

Dr. Silvia Cabrera began her studies at theFaculty of Medicine of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, which she successfully completed. She then continued her training at theInstituto Materno Infantil del Estado de México where she obtained herSpecialty in gynaecology and obstetrics.

In addition to her great academic and professional career, Dr. Silvia completed a high Specialty in Human Reproductive Biology at the Hospital Juarez de Mexico, supported by the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Among her most outstanding achievements are the following:

• Speaker at the General Session of the Hospital de Ginecología y Obstetricia del Instituto Materno Infantil del Estado de México. Topic. “Management of uterine prolapse and vaginal vault after total abdominal hysterectomy with surgical technique of colposuspension to the cooper ligament”.
• Instructor of the Microbiology program, Faculty of Medicine, Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, Morelia, Michoacán.

Her participation in multiple congresses, such as:

• “XX congreso COMEGO” by the Federación Mexicana de Colegios de Ginecología y Obstetricia and the Colegio Mexicano de Especialistas en Ginecología y Obstetricia.
• 68th Mexican Congress of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. By the Mexican Federation of Obstetrics and the College of Medical Specialists in Gynaecology, Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
• “International Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Summit” by the Mexican Federation of Gynecological Endoscopy, Morelia, Michoacán.

Dr. Cabrera has written and participated in the research and presentation of multiple scientific posters, such as:
