About her
Dr. Sara Jacobo Nájera is a native of Puerto Vallarta. She completed her degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and then pursued her specialty in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Hospital Ángeles del Pedregal, endorsed by Universidad La Salle. During her residency she was honored as Chief Resident and distinguished herself in teaching.
She continued with a subspecialty in Human Reproductive Biology at one of Mexico’s pioneer assisted reproduction centers, endorsed by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where she won free-paper awards at the Hospital Ángeles del Pedregal Medical Conferences.
She joined the Ingenes Institute in 2014, where she develops high-complexity treatments. She masters the comprehensive process, from female and andrological infertility diagnosis to IVF/ICSI cycles, including testicular biopsies and emerging techniques. She brings 12 years of experience at the crossroads of precision science and human care.
In 2026 she earned the International Diploma in Medical Tourism from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and the International Congress of Medical Tourism (CITURMED), a training that strengthens her care for international patients who travel to Mexico for fertility treatments.
