Dr. Karina del Carmen Olmos de la Torre

About her:

Dr. Karina began her studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Guadalajara, where she obtained her degree as a midwife. She later obtained her Specialty in gynecology and obstetrics at the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara “Dr. Juan I. Menchaca”.

As part of her great academic and professional career, Dr. Olmos completed a master’s degree in Gynecological Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Sonora and continuing with her brilliant academic training, she took a diploma in Clinical Bariatrics at the University of Valle de Atemajac and Colposcopy at the Civil Hospital Dr. Juan I. Menchaca.

Among her most outstanding achievements are the following:

• Adjunct Professor and Lecturer of the course “Search for improvements for diagnosis focused on Assisted Reproduction treatments”.
• Lecturer on Selected Topics in Gynecology, as part of the preparatory course for the National Medical Residency Examination, Continuing Medical Education.

Her participation in the editing, research and creation of the book:

• CAM. Medical refresher course: “What you need to know to pass the medical residency exam”. Author of the topic Postpartum hemorrhage, 2015.
