About her:
Dr. Catherine Andrea González Miranda is a specialist in Human Reproductive Biology and in Gynecology and Obstetrics, with a solid academic background and a distinguished career in top-level institutions in both Mexico and Colombia. Originally from Colombia, she graduated from Universidad del Rosario (1998–2004) and completed her social service at the First Level Hospital in Guamal, Meta (2004–2005).
Among her most outstanding achievements are the following:
- In 2007, she began her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Hospital de la Mujer, part of Mexico City’s Ministry of Health, completing it in 2011.
- She then pursued her subspecialty in Human Reproductive Biology at the National Institute of Perinatology Isidro Espinosa de los Reyes (2011–2013), where she was awarded with honors.
- Throughout her training, she stood out for both her human and professional commitment. In April 2004, she was recognized for her work in the Gynecology and Obstetrics department at the Clínica San Rafael University Hospital, and in April 2009, she received an award from the Hospital de la Mujer for the quality of care provided during her residency.
She has carried out research projects as part of her professional training, including:
- “Clinical characteristics of women diagnosed with extrapelvic endometriosis treated at the Hospital de la Mujer from 2005 to 2010” (2010).
- “Effect of reducing TSH time on the prevalence of hypothyroidism in Mexican women with infertility” (2012).
