Hi, I’m María de los Ángeles Rivera Castro, and I’m Liam’s mom. Today I want to share our experience at Ingenes — a journey that, although filled with challenges, ended up becoming the greatest joy of our lives.
Before coming to Ingenes, we had tried many other places and were turned away again and again.
Despair grew stronger with each passing day, and it seemed like there was no way out. But everything changed when we met Dr. Adrián, who treated us with incredible warmth and professionalism. He guided us step by step, explaining every test and procedure, and gave us the confidence that — finally — our dream could come true.
From the very beginning, the support was constant. Every instruction, every consultation, every test was clear and handled with care. Thanks to that close follow-up and the faith we held onto, the first attempt was successful. I clearly remember the moment they told me I was pregnant — it was a total wow moment, after almost 20 years of trying — full of emotions and tears of joy.
To every woman going through a similar journey, my message is: don’t lose hope. There’s always an angel who will guide you and give you the opportunity to live this experience. Liam was longed for, wished for, and waited for with all our hearts — and now, every day with him is a gift.
I also want to acknowledge my parents — Liam’s grandparents — who were with us every step of the way. Their support and love made this process more bearable and filled with strength.
Today, Liam is eight months old, and every smile, every little gesture, is a reminder of the miracle we lived and of all the effort that was worth it. When I look at him, I know that every step of the way, every test, and every challenge transformed into joy and into a dream fulfilled.
If I could share one message with other moms still searching for their star, it would be this: trust, don’t lose hope, and allow science and love to work together. Thanks to Ingenes, we achieved what once seemed impossible: having Liam in our arms and becoming a complete family.
