Hi, I’m Ruth Goyena Pacheco and this is Diego Pérez Cid. We are the proud parents of Jazmín and Diego Cid, and we’re part of the Ingenes family.
Our journey to having children was incredibly difficult.
We had previously lost a baby, and I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Doctors told me I would never be able to have children again, and that trying could cost me my life. My husband was heartbroken, but he never gave up. A friend recommended Ingenes, and thanks to his insistence, we decided to try one more time.
It was a journey full of fear and uncertainty. I was afraid for my life and worried I wouldn’t make it to full term. Every step required a lot of courage. But the team at Ingenes gave us complete support and reassurance. The maternal-fetal specialists and the entire staff made me feel safe and well cared for, explaining everything and being with us every step of the way.
The most emotional part for me was when the embryos were implanted. Witnessing that moment, knowing that all the effort and hope were finally taking shape, was magical. At first, three embryos implanted, which scared us—but in the end, two remained: Jazmín and Diego.
Getting the news that I was pregnant was a moment of indescribable joy. I never lost faith, and thanks to the guidance, support, and warmth of Ingenes, our children came into this world healthy and deeply wanted.
Today, Jazmín and Diego Cid, born in 2021, are our greatest joy. Our children are the long-awaited dream that finally came true. They are loved, wanted, and the result of a journey filled with hope, perseverance, and love.
My message to parents searching for their own stars is this: don’t lose hope. There are always options and solutions, even in the most difficult cases. Science and the dedication of Ingenes go hand in hand to make the impossible possible.
